What comes out of the kitchen
Weekend brunch
Pão de queijo (cheese bread), tapioca crêpes, cornmeal cake, freshly brewed coffee and fruit. Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 2pm.
Weekday lunch boxes
The menu changes every week. Chicken with okra, stroganoff, moqueca (fish stew), always with rice, beans and salad.
Party catering
Brazilian party bites (100 for €45), birthday cakes, feijoada for 10 people. Order 48 hours ahead.
The house
From Belo Horizonte to Parnell Street
Trial Bakery started in 2021 as lunch boxes delivered by bicycle. Today it is a 24-seat dining room with the same cook, Dona Lúcia, and the same recipes from her notebook.
We buy from the Brazilian butcher on the corner, bake the pão de queijo every morning and never use ready-made seasoning.

Do I need to book?
Not for up to 4 people. For larger groups, message us on WhatsApp with the day and time.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes, at least one vegetarian lunch box every day, plus the plantain moqueca.
Do you deliver?
Yes, to Dublin 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8 on orders over €25. Delivery is €4.
Do you take card?
Card, Revolut and cash.
